Crystal clear evaluation of suppliers with clever software
Kärcher, based in Winnenden near Stuttgart, is without doubt one of the world's leading suppliers of cleaning solutions for a wide range of applications. The selection and continuous auditing of suppliers is an important factor for the success in maintaining the highest quality standards.
For further improvement of the supplier selection process, Kärcher relies on the mQuest® Audit software. Potential suppliers are audited and classified according to the proven VDA 6.3 standard. Hundreds of audits are planned centrally and carried out per year. The company's own auditors conduct the audits at the supplier's site. The entire product development process is evaluated on the basis of defined checklists. With the help of the mQuest Audit BI Connector, recorded data is transferred to an in-house analysis tool and is available for detailed evaluations.
Deviations are tracked centrally and processed by the supplier himself. For this purpose, responsible persons have access to the relevant parts of the system.
In addition, an individual interface between mQuest® Audit and the SAP module Ariba was developed for Kärcher. The interface enables the direct import of master data on suppliers into the mQuest® Audit digitization platform.
In the long term, mQuest® Audit will be used in other areas and rolled out as a global standard for digitalized audits at Kärcher.
