More time for people through digitization at the Sankt Katharinen-Hospital in Frankfurt
The Sankt Katharinen-Hospital in the Bornheim district of Frankfurt is an acute hospital providing specialist care and an academic teaching hospital of the Goethe University Frankfurt. With 280 beds in the specialist departments of internal medicine (cardiology and gastroenterology), surgery, neurology, urology and geriatrics, as well as the non-bedded departments of anaesthesia, laboratory medicine and radiology, it also participates in Frankfurt's emergency care.
The Sankt Katharinen-Hospital is pushing ahead with digitization in the hospital. With tablets for staff, cumbersome isolated solutions, Excel spreadsheets and illegible paper lists are to become a thing of the past.
From simple surveys to detailed data collection for patient protocols, the central solution of the mQuest® survey software is used. mQuest® is 100% digital and can be used flexible on mobile or stationary devices. This way, questionnaires and protocols can be done without paperwork and the daily routine of the staff can be simplified significantly. The digitization measure has been well received by both the nursing staff and the doctors.
The software solution allows patient data to be recorded in a uniform and centralised manner, thus ensuring maximum transparency and data quality. This eliminates the need to decipher illegible handwriting and analyses can be retrieved immediately.
